Review of Cost of Community Services Study Contract

The committee reviewed the terms of the contract and affirmed that the terms reflected the substance of the discussion with Dr. David Freshwater on December 19, 2007.

Dr. Freshwater with meet with staff of the Planning Office on January 15, 2008 at 8:30 AM to begin reviewing the available data and identifying additional information required to complete the study.

Update on the Woodford Rural Land Board

In November, notice was placed in the Woodford Sun asking for persons interested in serving on the WRLB to submit their names and background information to Judge Executive Coyle's office. At the end of the specified period, only one application had been submitted.

The Judge Executive has received 3 additional applications since January 1. The composition of the WRLB is to include persons representing the following community interests:

Local Farm Bureau (2), local businesses (2), realtor (1), developer (1), citizen-at-large (1)

Status on workshop on trails and bed & breakfast development opportunities

Lori Garkovich will continue to work on developing this workshop for some time in the next 6 months.
