PUBLIC HEARING:
To review and possibly amend the
Subdivision Regulations (Yellow Book) Article VI, Section 660 to require the 4%
open space to be only within the Urban Service Boundary of Versailles or Midway
as follows:

Requirement for Community Facilities and Adequacy and Accessibility to Public
Facilities
A. In reviewing subdivision plats, the
Planning Commission will consider the adequacy and accessibility of existing or
proposed community facilities to serve the additional dwellings proposed by the
subdivision.
Where a proposed
park, playground, or other recreational area, proposed school site, or other
public uses, shown in the Comprehensive Plan is located in whole or in part
within a proposed subdivision, such proposed public use or park, if not dedicated to public use, or
conveyed to the City, County or the Board of Education, shall be reserved for a
period not more than two years from the date of final approval of the Final
Subdivision Plat by the Planning Commission for acquisition by the Fiscal
Court, the City Council, the Board of Education or other public agency by
purchase or other means.
At a
minimum, open space (exclusive of retention/detention basins) shall constitute
no less than four (4%) percent of the gross area of any subdivision or
development site located within the

To review and possibly amend
the Subdivision Regulations (Purple Book) Part 3 Section 1.3.02 to require the
4% open space to be only within the Urban Service Boundary of Versailles or
Midway as follows:
